Hi You All, I am mostly a lurker. Someone who has returned to school mid-life. Follows is an email obtained from the local school of medicine. Are there ethical considerations for this vaccine? I would appreciate any input and would be willing to contact the university about them. You can contact me off list. Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease that infectsone out of four women in the United

States.To be eligible, you must be a woman between the ages of 18 and 30without a history of herpes infection (this includes genital herpes andoral herpes--sometimes referred to as cold sores or fever blisters). You must be in good health and agree to use reliable contraception forthe first eight months of the study.Study participants will be asked to visit the research center 8 timesover the next 20 months.
