Guest guest Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 I had an ultrasound 1x/wk the last 10 wks of Dinah's pregnancy because of gestational diabetes. The ultrasound tech was clear that there has never been any safety shown with the use of ultrasound, nor had there been any studies showing the affects of repeated ultrasounds. This was in 2002. Seems to be that any reputable radiologist or OB should be aware of this, but there again, we can wish in one hand...
