Know any Doctors Who CURE Autism? Please post this to any autism lists that you can. From: Ginger Shamblin in Knoxville, TNGinger@...Sen. Bill Frist was at a rally/luncheon in Knoxville today and I wasable to speak with him afterwards. As I suspected, Senator/Dr. Fristis a decent fellow & concerned about the autism epidemic. But, hehasdisdain for 'predatory trial lawyers' (his words) --lawyers thatoffer their services to folks with injuries & then get the bulk ofany monetary settlement. (I strongly suspect that is the motivationbehind his legislative moves the last few years.)Anyway....I anticipate meeting with him again after the Novemberelections. He will still have considerable influence. I'd like to beready with USEFUL suggestions from the autism community (especiallydoctors) to present to him. Here's what I NEED FROM YOU...If you have personal, first-hand experience with a MEDICAL DOCTORwhohas treated & actually HELPED a child RECOVER partially orcompletelyfrom AUTISM, PLEASE send me that doctor's name, city & phone number( & , if they have one, website) along with your name & your phonenumber. Please limit your testimony to a few sentences. It makes sense that the doctors BEST suited for leadership in this'war on autism' would be those who have SUCCESSFULLY treated it.Their recommendations would be VERY valuable. Thanks!Ginger Shamblin, President 865-986-6784<TN4SaferVaccines@...>P.S. For what it's worth, I was told by Frist's aide when I went toDC that Frist was instrumental in getting pharmaceutical companiestobegin to remove thimerosal from most vaccines in 1999. That hasn'tbeen publicized. He is very much aware of the thimerosal issue.Thank you for your input--it could change everything
