Yes, there has been whistle blower testimony along the lines that Wyeth had trouble killing all 7 strains of pneumonia found in Prevnar (mercury was becoming a no no) so they found an alternative that was very effective in killing the 7 viruses in this 7-in-1 vaccine. I can post the testimony -- it is lengthy and in the archives. In the meantime just in case you thought cyanide is far fetched -- Here is a link from Bio Pharma news regarding Merck and cyanide. It appears that Merck was vamping up for a new vaccine and then when it changed its mind had to dispose of the cyanide. Some workers at the vaccine plant dumped the cyanide down the drain and ultimately killed thousands of fish. Now that made the EPA angry and Merck got fined. http://www.biopharma-reporter.com/news/ng.asp?n=68929-merck-epa-west-point-cyanide-waste-disposal I often wondered that if Merck was planning on tapping into the Prevnar market and even good old Merck found Prevnar to be just a little too toxic. No mercury though -- so what's there to worry about?
