I have stated more than once before on this list that the problem of

autism and vaccine poisoning is not a partisan problem and will never

have a partisan solution.

The problems I have with Bush is not partisan based. He is the head

of an administration that runs our public health agencies. These

agencies are the ones who own responsibility for the initial

negligence that allowed the increase number of dirty vaccines to be

injected into our children because of improper oversight. But worse

than that, they are now responsible for a heinous coverup of the

damage they did, and criminally worse, continue to do. The buck stops

with President Bush. He allowed this coverup to happen on his watch --

for whatever reasons -- and he will go down in history as one of the

worst administrations for the public health atrocities they have

committed. That he happens to be a Republican does not mean that much

to me. I could just as easily see a Clinton knock-off taking the same

path for the same corrupt reasons. And indeed, as others have pointed

out, the Clinton administration does have a bloody hand in these

affairs. But Clinton is not now calling the shots, if you will.

But I will agree that partisan knee-jerk Bush bashing does little to

forward the agenda for our children.

n makes the point clear on this issue. They are all(most)guilty.... yes

I am certainly

throwing Bush into this as well. Defending the Kennedy's as autism champions and

going

ballistic on Bush wanting control the world, will never persuade the people in

Washington

or at the State level that to change the existing laws. I think we need to open

a new topic

on sending the President autism legislation. This would mostly be about getting

your

legislators to sponsor bills like the new Weldon / Maloney bill or the zero

sponsor Hagel

bill on removing mercury. We all know this is a non partisan issue. We need

both parties

to make progress. Most people on this site recognize the shortcomings of the

parties the

typically vote with. Cheap partisan shots will only diminish progress on this

issue.

I have not seen any cheap partisan shots on this list. Just parents

with varying political idealogies who realize that it isn't one

party versus another. There are bad and good with both. In my state

there have been several GOP legislators who have really stepped up

to the plate regarding this issue.

However, the Bush Family is undeniably most to blame. Prescott and

his dealings with the Nazi's; Operation Paperclip, MKULTRA, Bush

Sr.'s stint in the CIA, Eli Lilly reaping enormous profits on Meds

for vaccine injured kids. Clinton is no hero of mine, but as was

mentioned earlier he is not the president currently. Bush is. And

if anyone thinks that the vaccine/thimerosal/autism controversy is

the only thing they (the current administration) is lying about,

think again.

Thanks . I couldn't have said it any better. I think what really rubs people raw when it comes to Bush are the empty promises and lies that go along with this current administration. People voted him into office because they thought they would FINALLY get a president with moral character and real leadership after the lack of moral character and leadership they found in Bill Clinton. What we got was lies, lies and more lies along with empty promises of a united America. Not only is the autism community fractured, but the whole country is fractured and we have Bush to thank for a lot of it. We knew we needed better and what we got was a bunch of nothing.

Like any politician. It's all about money and how many votes they can get.
