Senate rider bill 1422 for mercury removal in vaccines

I called Senators Kerry and Kennedy’s

office last week to make sure they would protect the environmental piece of the

combating autism act. I just got a call back from Senator Kerry’s

office and while I was on the phone also discussing federal house bill 881 to

remove mercury from vaccines he said that he just realized that there is a

Senate rider version of the bill right now in the HELP committee (Health,

Education, Labor and Pensions). Senator Chuck Hagel proposed it. Bill

1422 rider, is the senate version of the same bill in the house by Wheldon/Maloney.

Did anyone else know this was in a Senate committee? With my kids home

from school I haven’t been checking enough. Hopefully everyone will

now contact their Senators to support this rider, if I’m not too far

behind the ball and everyone’s already done that. -
