Lori (and others),

For now i put pure aloe vera on it with a sterile loose gauze on top... im

wondering though if the aloe vera is a bad idea for keeping it from drying

out/keeping it moisturized, as it stays sticky which isnt dry...but its also for

healing, so?

I called doc this morning for an appt tomorrow, as with a closer look its

starting to peel slightly... which isnt good and the beginning of stage 2...

I'm staying off of it til i see doc - should i remove aloe vera in meantime or

keep on you think... im concerned about it drying out. maybe another moisturizer

thats not as tacky/wet as the aloe vera?

uhh...not now... if i cant go to canada next week over this i'll cry.

thanks for any advice,

I find aloe to be irritating. I agree with Lori on the Duoderm-type protection.

I wash, dry, cover, and leave it alone for 3 days.
