Kind of OT: What to buy?????

I don't know. Mine does not. But then, I rarely look up words and do not need

that feature. On rare occasions where I do look up a definition, I use my

computer.

Once again I am turning to y'all for advice ;0)

h is beyond the age of barbies and assorted toys, but not yet " grown " . She

already has more electronic gadgets than I do (laptop, video and digital

cameras, iPod, etc) and I am almost at a loss as to what to get her!

I do know that we're going to get a gorillapod (tripod) for her cameras. She's

also gotten very good at using an older (circa. 2000?) home design program, so

we're going to get her a newer version with more features.

We're thinking about a digital choreography program because she loves to make up

dances for her sister and friends.

Make-up, clothes, and other typical girl stuff will be thrown in, of course.

Do y'all have any ideas for other very cool " techy " stuff that would be fun for

her?

do these ebook readers have a very easy way of looking up a definition of a

word, ie just a touch or two.cheers

Hy hubby just brought a Kindle home tonight for me to try. He sooo wants to buy

it for me, but I think they are too pricey.

 

It is pretty cool though!!

it's Amazon's Wireless Reading Device. It's wireless and  you can read books on

it, newpapers and magazines...check it out on amazon.com.

 

Lori, don't you use something handheld to read books n stuff?

On my Palm I used to. Palm has been replaced with a Blackberry. I do most of my

reading on-line from my laptop.

Wow, I think the digital choreography thing sounds awesome! My girls

are around h's age, and I bet they'd like it.
