hello

 I am 34 years old. From last year i was suffering from the SMA(spinal muscular

atrophy) Type4 disease.

in blood test my CPK was 1860 at first.my disease is genetic because my mother

and ancle death due to SMA.my muscles became weekness and i can't stair

up.before going to the hospital i had used 30days herbal medicines.after 30 days

my CPK became less (1450).i was hospitalization for 2 months.after one months my

CPK was (1025) and my muscles became strong and i can stair up and sitting and

standing and walking long time.i am using their herbal medicine for 3months to

continue treatment.

The hospital's representative said to me "  from the idea of Traditional Chinese

Medicine, your Spinal Muscular Atrophy is due to depleting of the liver and

kidney, the sinews and vessels can not be nourished. Our treatment strategy is

to be enriching and supplementing the liver and kidney, strengthening the sinews

and bones. "

 The hospitalization fee is US$80.00 per day for each patient, including

herbal

tea, acupuncture and massage.

I don't know your name. Can you tell us more about yourself and your experience

with SMA and the treatment you're recommending? Your message feels like an

advertisement and doesn't offer any real information. Please tell us what the

treatment was like, how long it took, what changes you noticed in your body, and

how much this cost. Did you have genetic testing to verify your SMA? You said

you no longer have SMA; how did you verify this and for how long have you been

" cured " ?

Hi, I am really keen to know more how is your treatment process.  I have a

daughter with SMA Type II.  Do you know of any type II patients that are being

treated using the same treatment/medication by the same doctor or hospital that

you have gone to ?  Which part of China that this hospital is located ?  Can I

have the doctor or hospital contact person email address to know more ?  Btw, I

share the same concern as Alana about spam in the internet and it is very hard

to know the authencity of each story.  Hope you don't mind as most of us here

are either concern parents or the patients who have been long suffering due to

this terrible SMA disease.  Just hope one fine day the CURE will come true.
