This seems odd...but then again they are pushing the Dtap due to whooping cough in CO..and there is that high rate their of unimmunized kids..so I hardly think their "tetanus for adults" is accurate..False advertising. http://www.lamardaily.com/Stories/0,1413,121~7981~3310401,00.html Adult tetanus clinic to be held Saturday, May 13, 2006 - Prowers County Public Health will be having an Adult Tetanus clinic at the Lamar Wal-Mart Garden Center, Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. All shots will be available to adults at a cost of $5 each. Along with the traditional tetanus and diptheria (Td) vaccine, the clinic will also have tetanus, diptheria, and acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccinations. Tdap is a new vaccine that protects against tetanus, deptheria and pertussis. This new vaccine is recommended for adolescents at age 11 or 12 and adults up to 64 years of age. Both vaccines will be available for adults at the clinic.
