Guest guest
Our daughter, , age 14.5 years made honor roll for the second time in a row. will be released from speech services at school at the end of this school year as the speech teacher feels that she is on grade level according to her report card. has informed us that she has not been in speech in the last several weeks. was been getting speech since the tender age of 2.5 years. was dx as having PDD at 4 years and 3 months of age. has been GCFC since May 2005. She has made tremendous progress. We are fearing that the school may want to mainstream her and she is not emotionally mature. She has had no " social skills " training as the school does not provide a service such as that. We do not feel that she would be equipped to handle her NT peers and their lack of understanding. Any suggestions?
