Guest guest
For the CA folks June will be here before we know it, and my county has still not given details on how to go about getting current staff fingerprinted/orientation and all the BS!... they stopped my advance pay while hospitalized, even though they were informed i was there, they stated " less than a dozen people in our county have advance pay " , as basically I was having to supply copies, often dated back many months, more than once, of timesheets theyd lost... all was complied with but they took me off advance pay... its been working until this new issue with hiring... has anybody had the experience of needing to hire a NEW pca, and have them do all these new procedures first? Fingerprinting can be set up pretty quick, with prompt results, and although I dont want to go this route, it looks like we may have to and I'm curious if anybody has gone through this added hassle yet, and how long it took? Our county has no answers... If a PCA were to give 2-weeks notice (or none!) this puts us in a real bind for care, and is totally unsafe and not helping our Calif budget... UHHH, I dream of a day free of this IHSS hell! LB
