Guest guest
You are to be commended in asking Mrs. that question (Suzanne, not , correct?). However, the person who could answer that and make a definitive statement is Dr. Goldstein, Chair of the Scientific Affairs Committee. http://www.autismspeaks.org/leadership.php#gary Suzanne has not gone on the record stating whether she believes that vaccines played a role in her grandson's autism. Neither has Bob (who had ample opportunity on the Imus show). Hildebrand (who has nothing to do with Autism Speaks) did go on record that she believed that vaccines contributed to her son's autism. Guest guest
Regarding Shih: " Earlier this week, Dr. Shih of the National Alliance for Autism Research appeared on Montel and also endorsed the use of mercury in vaccines. Shih stated that his infant received vaccines which may or may have not contained thimerosal—he felt no need to ask for thimerosal-free. Fournier (Portsmouth, RI), parent and president of NAA, asks, 'Why would Shih, or any parent deliberately give their child a substance that's label contains a Jolly- symbol?' Guest guest
With all due respect, " moles and saboteurs " ???? The Chief Scientific Officer Andy Shih??? (mole or saboteur???) WAY MORE THAN MORE OR SABOTEUR!!!! WE'RE TALKING THE CHIEF SCIENTIFIC OFFICER!!!!! If Autism Speaks moves forward without Shih and Yeargin-Allsop (i.e., they resign) - MAYBE... If Shih very publicly denouces his reckless statements on the Montel show AND Yeargin-Allsop resigns - MAYBE... UNTIL THEN - NO!!! Guest guest
What do you want me to say. You got what you got. It's obviously not ideal- maybe even it totally sucks. Work around it. If NAAR was whole and independent, that would be worse. The fact that they had to merge, means there is hope, especially if Autism Speaks people who understand this issue grab hold of it. I don't believe that the s are unconscious of this issue- they can't be given what knows. Dateline just did a reasonably favorable piece on chelation- that's Bob's network- he could have pulled it. They may yet trash it. But we're still way far ahead of where we were. Guest guest
Agreed, those are all much, much better. But let's not discount Autism Speaks to zero even if Shih is chief saboteur. A lot of people in that group do not agree with Shih. And they are getting the word out. The cause will come from the more favorable groups. But note the shift over time in Autism Speaks. That will come and will signal the shift in the understanding of this issue. Re: Dan Burton , Dave Weldon , Autism Speaks Agreed... Guest guest
Kim, I was at that same conference with you and last night I saw Mark Blaxill and Dr. Deth speak again. The evidence that Kirby and Mark Blaxill report is far too compelling for to ignore. She watched both of them at that conference. The Andy Shihs of the bunch just keep reporting the same epidemiological studies with NO new info. Mark’s speech was current, all numbers, all graphs, and he makes complete sense. Mercury answers all of the questions. Since I don’t think this will be the only time Mrs is in the room while these compelling stats are being reported, and because of that she WILL bring forth the truth. I really believe the s are “in” the world of politics which is about manipulation. They know they cannot come right out and scream “Mercury”, they won’t get the support. Calculated manipulation has got a much better chance of working. As for Andy Shih, he should be invited to one of these conferences where the STRAIGHT (unadulterated) numbers do not lie. There was a particular slide that Mark Blaxill showed last night on what the affected (autopsied) brains of people with Autism look like, the brain’s differences from normal brains, and then he showed the same picture of what ethyl mercury does to the brain. Way TOO compelling. - From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of krstagliano Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2006 8:30 AM EOHarm Subject: Re: Dan Burton , Dave Weldon , Autism Speaks Can anyone " in the know " speak to this post? Guest guest
All this " accepting " takes time. When we first started realizing Allie was sick, I had not even realized it was the vaccine. I knew something changed shortly after getting chicken pox, but it was several months later that her vaccine record lept of the page at me with the date. Then the memories came flooding back, the entire incident. Then it was several months before I actually accepted it and was willing to talk about it, then a little longer before I was ready to advocate for it. The s may have all the wealth and power, but beyond it all they are parents and grandparents. They are on a learning curve, they are grieving, and they are afraid. Give 'em some time, they're already coming around. It's a big step to go from blindly following medical vaccine protocol (as I did) to completely fighting for change. That's not a money/power thing, it's a human emotion thing. Debi

Guest guest
, All great points, and I agree with everything you've posted including this one. There's only a couple reasons why the RFK, Jr. story was pulled back at the last minute. One would be for a major breaking story. That didn't happen. Another reason is somebody was using Bobby's investigation for leverage against the drug ad people. Is it clear somebody was extorting a more lucrative Ad contract out of the drug companies effectively using our children to black-mail pharma? In a way, I think they made it clear, but short of a Spitzer investigation into the collusion taking place at all networks FIOA will the best way to tell. Let's not forget these are government agencies running the nightly news broadcasts. Certainly there's a paper trail involving closed door relationships between the powerful media and government. If we believe that dictators sitting on the bulk of the world's oil supply while developing atomic weapons are scary. How about a government with editorial control over network news content coupled with a largely foreign industry attempting to institute every man, woman, and child policies involving things loaded in syringes? Every study the networks agrees to embargo, every dirty ad dollar rung up, every scripted moment, be it "entertainment" or a science guy gazing into a teleprompter declaring clearly false and misleading prepared statements. What ABC, NBC, and CBS must understand is we are taking names and documenting everything. They will be held accountable for their spinelessness and for their obvious part in this government deception. As for Bob . If we really thought that he was on our side we wouldn't be having this debate. He's got skid marks in his drawers just like everybody else. I'll never forget how mad we all got about Bob's "Better Diagnosis Week". Our late well beloved brother Alan took up the keyboard for us here: http://www.nopointsfortrying.blogspot.com/ When a man who is honestly mistaken, hears the truth, he will either cease being mistaken or cease being honest."
