Bob and did a phenomenal job this morning! They were on for a full 30 minutes and made so many great points. is obviously convinced that six vaccines given to her son in one visit to the pediatrician began his quick decline into autism. She had brought with her pages from his baby book which contained his immunization records. Said that she would never take six shots in one day and questioned herself for letting her son receive them so blindly. Her description of continual diarrhea, stomach pain, and her son hanging over furniture sounded all too familiar. She is clearly with us on the thimerosal issue. She

mentioned compromised immune system issues and DAN doctors. She specifically wanted to know why pediatricians are not speaking up and demanding answers. Bob brought home the point that there is a genetic pre-disposition, but we need to research environmental issues in addition to genetic. They shamed the AAP for not pushing for research and not developing treatment codes that Insurance will cover. Bob has really backed them into a corner! He pointed out that Autism gets less than 1% of NIH research

dollars, but is (and has been) the most common developmental disability (for years). I’m telling you guys, the s are our great heroes. They made the AAP, CDC and NIH look uninterested, unconcerned and ineffective, i.e., essentially, they are not doing their jobs!
