Guest guest
Hi Judy. I know how frustrating it is. These kids get a royal screwing everywhere they turn. The best O.T. I did for my son was karate. It has done more for him than any of the ot at the schools.Try to find a place that is used to working with children. The ATA is a great place. You can go to ataonline.com and click find a school. After a vax. my son went to e-r gasping for air.[of course he was given an rsv swab and we were sent home, idiots!] Years later an mri revealed he had the cerebellum herniated into the spine. This causes alot of problems with muscles in the head, face, kneck, and extremeties. The karate is awesome because what they do on 1 side of the body they do on the other side. It helps them to practice using their body correctly. They are shown different moves that may involve putting hands, or feet a certain way. Since none of the kids know these techniques no-one stands out. They all learn , practice together, make friends, and have alot of fun. First class is usually free, Best to you and your son, Dot
