Guest guest
This morning Don Imus is wearing a blue puzzle piece pin on his jacket. I'm pretty sure that is the Autism Speaks symbol that Bob and Suzzane were wearing last year when they were on his show. Why did they have to create a different symbol and not use the " traditional " colorful puzzle print ribbon? Just really made me think that he will support Autism Speaks version of autism whatever that means ( i.e. causes, direction research should go). Maybe this is irrelavant and I'm naive to think that Imus would ever say anything other than something OK with the s. But, I see the autism colorful ribbon as being the " universal " symbol for autism just like pink ribbons for breast cancer, yellow for supporting the troops etc.... Why are they trying to separate themselves from the rest of us?
