Guest guest
I'm in a similar pinch as h. I'm 4'7 " and 90 lbs, and I'm constantly in pain while flying. I position the cushion to my manual wheelchair (which I always take as a backup chair when traveling) behind my back, and use fleece blankets to cushion my hips and butt. We always keep a bag or back pack on the floor to boost my legs up. I find that with my legs up, rather than dangling, it's more comfortable on my hips. We still need to reposition every hour or so, which is also difficult for us. Unfortunately it's just a matter of trying to ignore and breathe through the pain long enough for the plane to get where it's going. I've come off many flights with newly formed pressure spots, and still haven't found a way to help with the situation. <3Kendra > > > > > > When we travel with h's powerchair we remove EVERYTHING that can > > be removed before we hand it over to them.
