Guest guest
I was actually referring to , who seems to have completed and utterly devoted her life to MJ. Of course, as an Atheist, I do not believe in angels or saints but if I did, would fit the suit (or wings as it were). I total agree with you about the whole sma angel thing. I don't get it. Then again, I guess it takes faith to believe in such things. L Re: Friday night MJ News Hi Lori...Not quite following your post of the definition of angel in response to brenda's post. Is this in reference to all the SMA-Angel links in her post's signature? I've always had a hard time with people referring to people with SMA who've died as angels and have been sure to let my friends know to thwart any attempts to refer to me as such when I die. On the other hand, I have never brought the issue up on this public list because I recognize that people who are religious and/or have lost children due to complications related to SMA seem to find comfort in thinking of these children as angels. I haven't discerned if people do this with adults with SMA who have died. In general I'm uncomfortable with it - Feels creepy to me. But I am not comfortable with many death rituals and know that many people of different faiths would be uncomfortable with mine. So, keep-on to all those who are comforted by their angels. And thank you for respecting that I'll never be one.
