Beckett/Deeming waiver

I have a question for anyone that has the Beckett waiver. It says on the site that I visited that you have to have a form from the doctor recommending nursing home placement. Is this true? If so, how hard was it to get a doctor to do that and how severe does the child need to be? Tyler was diagnosed as mild to moderatly autistic at the Marcus Center. Would that be enough to get the waiver? I know there are doctors that will take the waiver but not PeachCare which is what Tyler has right now. I need a doctor that is autism friendly and all the ones that I have tried do not take our insurance and I don't have the funds at the moment to be paying for this out of pocket.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
