Guest guest
I'm feeling a little light...and needed it this afternoon... My poor boy has, for the past 6 hours, been continuously screaming and/or crying, galloping, slapping his ears and pinching his cheeks...been to the pediatrician (who is wonderful with him)...no fever, appetite fine (he can eat/scream/cry all at the same time), ears clear, nose clear, throat clear, chest clear, no overt medical issue...but we're going to try a z-pak in case it's a sinus infection... It's strange...when he came to live with me a year ago he'd do this 4 hours a day three or four days every other week...hasn't had more than four hours CUMULATIVELY of these types of behaviors in six months...somehow this is hitting me harder than day after day of it used to...maybe because I thought we were past it... Everyone please say a prayer or send us a positive thought that whatever is bothering him resolves quickly! I vote for your merit badge...but I disagree...a yellow and blue dress looks lovely on Lenny Alice K Mueller <tomato@...> Sent by: EOHarm 03/08/2006 04:22 PM Please respond to EOHarm To EOHarm cc Subject re: FROM THE HOST: Regarding rude outburst: Time Out., Dear fellow list members, > I regret the recent outburst and have addressed the issue privately. > > Stuff happens. Guest guest
Alice; I had the same type of trouble shortly before starting chelation. Extra Vitamin C helped stop it for good. Guest guest
The Z pack will stir up what could be yeast all ready. Does he take probiotics? Is he gf/cf? Guest guest
I agree. My older son always gets similar behaviors to the ones you described when his yeast takes over. Giving antibiotics, especially just as a precautionary measure when there is no infection found, will not only stir up yeast, kill all of the good bacteria, but will also build up a resistence for the times when he really does need antibiotics. I am certainly no professional, I just learned these things the hard way and try to spread caution from my earlier mistakes. Good Luck, > > > > I'm feeling a little light...and needed it this afternoon... > > > > My poor boy has, for the past 6 hours, been continuously screaming > and/or > > crying, galloping, slapping his ears and pinching his > cheeks...been to the > > pediatrician (who is wonderful with him)...no fever, appetite fine > (he can > > eat/scream/cry all at the same time), ears clear, nose clear, > throat > > clear, chest clear, no overt medical issue...but we're going to > try a > > z-pak in case it's a sinus infection... > > > > It's strange...when he came to live with me a year ago he'd do > this 4 > > hours a day three or four days every other week...hasn't had more > than > > four hours CUMULATIVELY of these types of behaviors in six > > months...somehow this is hitting me harder than day after day of > it used > > to...maybe because I thought we were past it... > > > > Everyone please say a prayer or send us a positive thought that > whatever > > is bothering him resolves quickly! > > > > I vote for your merit badge...but I disagree...a yellow and blue > dress > > looks lovely on Lenny > > > > Alice > > > > > > > > K Mueller <tomato@> > > Sent by: EOHarm > > 03/08/2006 04:22 PM > > Please respond to > > EOHarm > > > > > > To > > EOHarm > > cc > > > > Subject > > re: FROM THE HOST: Regarding rude outburst: Time Out., > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear fellow list members, > > > I regret the recent outburst and have addressed the issue > privately. > > > > > > Stuff happens. In fact, if anything I find it rather sad to have to remind fully grown adults about polite behavior. And if any of you don't like the rule against rudeness, you can. . . how can I put this delicately. . . kiss my ass. Opps, I'm sorry, I meant to say donkey. <wink> > > When do I get my merit badge? [Please! We're in polite company, remember?] Seriously, it is wonderful that you've set up a special needs ministry. Are you a lay minister?
