How about a scarf wrapped around your head? That's what I do. puts it on

me when I leave and I can take it off when I get to work.

Winter hats?

I was wondering how those of you who live in colder climates get a hat on your

head? I'm finding that I don't have the strength to lift any soft material type

hat that needs two hands to lift.

Winter is fast approaching and I can no longer use the knitted hat that I have

worn for years.

I don't have a hood on my jacket. I don't like them anyway because they obscure

my vision.

Any suggestions?

I've found hats that are fashionable both indoors and out. I have my

morning assistant put it on, and I wear until I'm done going in and

out. If it's too warm, I ask a friend or co-worker to take it off and

put it on again.

Hi, Lori, Alana, and Taya

I don't think the scarf will work for me. I need something that I don't have to

fight with or will come loose in the wind or blow off. I can't even get a scarf

on by myself on a good day!

Getting a Homemaker to put in on in the morning 2 hours before I leave, wouldn't

work for me as I tend to get warm, and then I start to itch.

I used to be able to lean forward on my scooter handles, to put my hat on, but

it doesn't work anymore.

I need a Jetson futuristic type home with robot ;-)

How about using a long knitting needle to get your woollen hat on and off? Or

two long knitting needles?

I use knitted hoods because nothing else stays on since my head rests on the

headrest. I can't put on the hoods or any hat myself anyway. But I do knit my

own hoods.

Just an idea...
