I did agree to run the list, but Mike and are still moderators so to

speak. So, if I'm not addressing a problem b/c I haven't checked email in a

few days, they have full reign to. I hope I can do justice and run

the list as she would want.

Oh and btw, my last name is not Fo. got that from my Facebook

account but it's a small inside joke . Sorry !

I just wanted to say thanks to , Mike, and Kimi and everyone else who

is part of this list, for keeping the sma friends list going. It means a lot

to me personally, and I know beck () is out there somewhere very

happy that it is still going strong. And I think all of you have done a great

job.

I also wanted to update everyone on our efforts to remember beck and raise

awareness for SMA. We recently had our first memorial " 's Ride " bike

ride and picnic fundraiser. (this past saturday, aug 25) I then hosted an

" after party " and collected a cover charge. (Beck loved a good party, so I

think she would approve.) We did not have the greatest turnout...17 bikers

(including myself) and 18 people came to the party...but, hopefully we can

start

a tradition and get more and more people each year.

The money made will go to our local FSMA Wisconsin chapter. I will let you

know how much we made...we are still collecting money...just an hour ago a

coworker dropped another check on my desk. So stay tuned...
