For you ladies with SMA that have had children via c-section, how'd you get

rid of your tummy? I didn't gain much weight at all during my pregnancy but

what I did gain is all in my tummy and I want it gone!

I didn't gain an ounce of fat while I was pregnant. Every pound I gained was

fluid, placenta and baby. Guess what? I still have a tummy and it sucks ass!

If I knew the answer to that I'd be *so* happy. It's been 10 years

since I had my last C-section and I still have a significant pooch.

I think my problem is that my stomach muscles/skin/abdominal wall,

etc got all stressed out and I lack the muscle tone to push

everything back into place.

As a man I know it sounds weird but I know the answer lol. My x had 3

C- sections and had a tummy tuck. We saw several Plastic surgeons

1st. They all say you can't get rid of it on you own. She tried

everything and it was small but no dice. They did the Bikini line

type and also tied her stomach muscles tougher also.

Terry,

Did your ex-wife have SMA? It's really hard for me to go under general for any

kind of surgery; I'm assuming you have to be totally out for a tummy tuck. I

think, as someone else said, I just don't have the muscle tone to pull things

back in shape.

Thanks!

No she did not have SMA. I am not sure if they could do a saddle

block or local of some kind but it might be worth a call. The doc's

said that skin would never shrink do to the way it was cut and

stretched I don't remember his exact words though. They pulled her C-

section scar down to her Bikini line and it worked out good. She was

thin and didn't have a lot to remove so they didn't cut from hip to

hip, they do a mini cut. I am no Doctor but if can be awake for a c-

sec why not for a tummy tuck it is almost a tummy tuck being done

with a C-Sec.
