Alana home tomorrow, double hurray!

here is latest update on alana that i received from her friend to share with

you all. great news!

I saw Alana today at the hospital and she looks great! A bit tired and

dozing frequently, but doing really well. Her blood count improved without

needing a unit of blood. Also, she didn't have any side effects to the

antibiotic (yay!) and will finish the prescribed dose tomorrow. The tube

was removed yesterday (Saturday) morning which helped ease most of the pain.

Alana is going home tomorrow. It will be the first time she's been upright

in her wheelchair in three weeks. She'll probably be a bit wobbly and

exhausted when she gets home, but hoping to get back into the swing of

things in a few days. She very much appreciates all of the love, support

and kind wishes, and asks that we give her a couple days before calling or

visiting so she can concentrate on healing, etc.
