Guest guest
Such discourse! (Is that spelled correctly?) At some point I will respond to comments I have received. Perhaps you will choose to read my response with open minds and hearts. What I noticed about all of this is that my original email was not delivered to you intact, perhaps from my own error. My final paragraphs stated that I am an unconventional doctor who, along with many other such MDs across the country, are returning to the old ways of practicing. We limit the number of patients we see in a day. Some see ten. Some see fifteen. We all spend 30-120 minutes with our patients at each appointment. We insist on same-day availability. We survive by limiting our overhead. We do not use nurses or MAs. We check patients in, take their vitals, do the scheduling and the billing. We spend time with our patients and are able to charge more on average. Having been consulting faculty at Duke, medical director of a Federally Qualified Health Center and now owner of my own practice, I would say that this way is the best way to serve my patients. I know them well and love them, and they, me. BTW I do not give vaccinations in my office (for many reasons.) If you are interested in finding a practice like the one I have described you may go to www.idealhealthnetwork.com. Until we meet again, Kathleen Meehan-de la Cruz MD BA in Literature, former Spelling Bee Champion, once right-brained, now left, likely because of retraining Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Add photos, events, holidays, whatever.
