Guest guest
The s Hopkins website http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/thi-table.htm lists the thimerosal content of currently available vaccines. As thimerosal-free vaccines become available, the older, mercury-containing ones are deleted from the site, as though they never existed. The list has the visual effect of having lots of zeros, but there is the significant omission that none of the mercury-containing influenza vaccine from this season are listed. Which of course is the majority of the supply. The Thi-table is updated periodically updated, but it has not been updated since Sept. 13, 2005. It's well into the flu season, and the product inserts from this season's " product " (as they say in retail) has been available for months. Wonder why they haven't put the *whole truth* in there. I had a somewhat earnest discussion with a pediatrician attendee at the AAP meeting in October, who insisted that thimerosal was out of the pediatric flu vaccines as of last season (2004-5). She acknowledged that it was still out there in the adult vaccine supply, but that the kiddie supply was safe. I wonder if Hopkins Institute for Vaccine " Safety " , which is behind the website, is withholding this info deliberately from pediatricians. Meanwhile, organized pediatrics, like the Illinois AAP, actively sabotages legal efforts to remove mercury from vaccines. I tried to send feedback to the Hopkins website, using the address given (info@...), but it seems the address is inactive. Does anyone have any addresses for Neal Halsey (who is the head guy at the Institute for Vaccine Safety) and would like to bring this little deficiency to their attention? " Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops.
