I'm looking for insight, professional contacts, or data regarding the following topic: " Community-based residential care facilities for the mentally ill are a travesty. We should bring back elements of the once demonized state hospitals for the mentally ill. " Anyone with professional contacts or information would be helpful. I'm really in need of " unbiased " pros and cons of both community residential programs and state hospitals, as well as raw data regarding death rates, medicinal use, health and safety, worker turn over, etc. I've already got information on the Olmstead Act, but anything would be appreciated.
