Guest guest
Hi all, I have really wimpy muscles in my arms. I also have a wheelchair tray on the whole time I am up because I have to haul so much stuff here and there for work. So in the warmer months, when I would like to wear short sleeves, I get frustrated b/c my arms stick to the tray and make it hard for me to move. As a result, I often wear long sleeves even when it is warm or downright hot. This is usually fine since I am cold-natured anyway, but sometimes it is a bummer. I try folding a soft paper towel like a Viva under my elbows, and it works for a while, but then it slides out of place. Do any of you have this problem? Any solution ideas? Blessings, Holly
Guest guest
Holly: I use about 4-5 inches of stockinette over my elbows cuz I stick too. Its very thin and not so hot in the summer. I do get a funky tan- but when I wear my Crocks this summer w/o socks my feet are going to be polka dotted! lol Jodi & Maggie May Accessible Travel Disability Travel Specialist and Service Dog " Making a way for YOU to get away! Guest guest
get someone to buy some slippery material, one that slides well across your tray and have them make you a " sleeve " just long enuff to cover the places on your arm that contact the tray. Put an elastic cuff at the top part of the " sleeve " (your bicep area). The right snazzy material and you will be making a new fashion trend, LOL!
