Guest guest
Ronna, I would be interested in the pants patterns if you are still up for sharing. Brett is only 6- but I don't think it is ever too early to prepare. Thanks in advance- you can e-mail me personally so we don't clog the chat....Brettsmom@... or kkoehler47@... I wanted to get back with you about what we have found has worked well for my son who is 10.5 years old. I have found that he is too big now to move in and out for urine, and actually has been for the past few years as he weighs 91 lbs. I buy athletic pants with side snaps and also have had a friend make elastic waist jean and twill pants with a snap tape from mid-thigh to midthigh in the crotch area of his pants. We have him in boxers which makes access easier as well. I either unsnap the side snaps down one leg for access or unsnap the crotch area on his other pants while he is in his chair. I bought the angled neck 8oz baby bottles which work well as a mini urinal while he is in his chair that fits easily between his legs, they have a screw on cap to prevent accidental spills if there is not a bathroom or outside emptying location nearby. This has worked great for for the past 4 years. I would be happy to share pants patterns, actually I have 4 pairs of adapted pants he has outgrown that are about a size 10, that I am looking for a home for. Also 's chair has a tilt and recline feature which helps when he is using his urinal. Let me know if you want more specific info, or might be interested in the pants.
