hi,

i recently had a lung function test and i founf out that i am at 24% i am 16

years old and last year it was 22% so i am really happy.

what are your lung capacitys and ur ages?

Mine has been between 11% and 15% since I was 15. I'm 39.

Mine is 25 % or thereabouts. I am 37 with SMA II.

h is 10 w/ type 2 and the last PFT we had done she was *around* 35%. The one

before that (when she had RSV) was 29%. That is with her brace on (which doesn't

allow her to expand fully) and without any assisted breaths (which I've since

been told makes it more accurate - thanks and Queen MJ)

h also uses a bi-pap and cough assist to help maintain what lung capacity

she does have.

I'm not sure what it is presently, but it has been as low as 11%. I have a

PFT this month and will ask. I have SMA 2. I believe getting my trach/vent

has helped maintain and increase it.
