Mestinon isnt " common " among SMA'ers since it is ideally prescribed for MG

patients (Marvius Gravis - weak facial and upper body muscles). It helps our

MN from depleting its acytacoline (pronounced as a-sit-a-cole-leen) levels

which is the chemical it uses to contract our muscle fibers to make us move.

Well it fights back the chemical / culprit that eats our acytacoline and that

lessens the fatigued feelings. Its an all around fix and affects all our

working MNs, so it has also improved other areas.

I am alot like u then (except I dont drive - couldnt afford it).

Ask ur neurologist about considering Mestinon as a backup incase the Creatine

causes future harm; if any.

Good luck & take care
