Along with the other discussion, I've been sort of following the dislocated hips

one. I find it kind of interesting because my hip doesn't seem to be very

paralell to my other hip. In fact my right leg is slightly twisted. My hip is

turned inward a little bit which has my thigh turned in a bit, but then at my

knee it goes inward a little more so that the knee is pointing to the left but

then my calf and ankle sort of point the other direction. My bones are pretty

much set and it feels normal to me because I don't know how it feels to have

totally normal legs. When I was a toddler and a young child, I used to sit in a

sort of kneeling position but my leg would go out from under me so that m y legs

were kind of bent to the side when I would sit on the floor. My mom didn't

realize what she was looking at in terms of possible misdevelopment of my legs,

so she never really tried to make me sit normally. She said when I would sit on

my knees when I was little, sometimes my right leg

would be almost completely behind my butt. My left leg is straight though.

But my right arm is subtly twisted too, I can still use my arms and legs. I

walk and climb stairs everyday with out too much difficulty, unless I go for a

few weeks without sustained excercise, then it takes my body a few days to

build-up again.

I will say this, when my mom was 6 months pregnant with me, she caught the

chicken pox from picking my sister up at school. and when i was 13 months old, I

had scarlett fever.

Sincerely,

R.
