Could be interesting since we're both SMA 3 and 33 lol I Will however both of the neuro are pretty clueless on SMA and One of them is from the MDA. I will bring in the info so they will know what it even is. How are you doing at 33 are you walking Etc. I didn't even know you were type III. They both worked with me for several months trying to find out what disease I had as well as many others in the past and came up with nothing. Guest guest Posted March 2, 2006 Report Share Posted March 2, 2006 I live in Ft Myers Florida and I have been from Tampa down to Miami and I have yet to find Doctor that had a clue about what I have. I stared having problems at 8 and my Mom took me every-where to find out what was wrong with me I also went to an MDA Clinic in Kansas that said I was a puzzle and after many different test and no results went to the Mayo clinic. Do you find Florida wheelchair accessible Yes thats about 50 miles North of us right on I-75 and that is a new and nice city so everything for the most part is accessible bc there is so much growth many things are new. I hope our hotel is near the beach or a mall! lol We will see if we can do that. Look up Merits they make a portable power chair that folds. There main warehouse is about 10 minutes from my house and I am very good friends with the owner I used to work for him and can get you a deal. I have a few of there scooters and they are nice.
