To this day the flu vaccine (now recommended for children and pregnant women) still contains thimerosal (a preservative with ethyl mercury in it). While we have passed legislation prohibiting children's vaccinations from containing mercury.. production only ended this summer, and there has been NO RECALL on vaccines containing thimerosal. Other states have banned the use of mercury in their vaccines.
