Guest guest
http://tinyurl.com/dhhgv Wild Oats hosts flu-vaccine clinics In preparation for the flu season, Wild Oats Natural Marketplace will host flu vaccination clinics in its Santa Fe store, 1090 St. Francis Drive, during October. Medical staff from Professional Flu Clinics will be on hand to administer flu vaccinations for $25 per person. Wild Oats will be offering a more natural, preservative-free flu vaccine (primary ingredients do not include Thimerosal) to adults 18 and over. The dates are: Oct. 7, 14, 21 from 8 a.m. to noon; Oct. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The flu clinics are administered by an approved Medicare provider, so qualified people should bring their Medicare ID. Vaccination recipients will receive insurance reimbursement receipts. For more information about the clinics, call 983-5333. Homeopaths offer flu inoculations High Desert Homeopathy is offering a free oral flu inoculation as an alternative to an injected vaccine. Homeopathic practitioners Debra Owens and Lawson say the oral dose poses less risk of side effects to most patients as it has no chemicals and is taken with only water. Owens especially recommends the homeopathic dose for infants and young children and others whose immune system might not be fully developed. For details or to make an appointment call 982-5685.
