Even the Internal Revenue Service is generating its own

positive spin regarding the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

A CPA I know has sent me 3 press releases in which the

IRS proudly announces a 6-week extension for victims

who have taxes due in September, and other assistance

to help hurricane victims pay their taxes.

It's kinda hard to fork it over when your bank is underwater.
