Well, our girl surprised the doctors when she was given a EMG(not with needles with pads) this time she was all 4s and has gained back strength . She had the test in Jan and she was 2s and 3s. When she started the study she was 4s (that is very good for SMA type 1 babies.) They test the same muscle everytime for the study. Dr.Wang said he never has had a type 1 gain strength in that muscle before and was so happy!! He said they stayed the same or got weaker. So is another first!! 's white blood cells are a little low so she is off the drug for a few weeks. She did great on bipap on the flight home and back.
