Guest guest
Have you considered/tried something that you could take orally (or through a tube if you have one) like glycolax/miralax? We used to have to use suppositories and/or enemas to get h to have a BM but haven't had to even once since she started miralax. Chinese food also seems to help things along *LOL* Hugs Jeni Aunt617@... wrote: Here' my problem: Just about everyday, I use a suppository. Unfortunately, health aides are not allowed to give them. Some will do it, but we can't tell the health care agency. I depend on my mom for the suppository, which I hate. She's not always home. Also, what happens if she's sick or dies or if I move? Would a nurse have to come here everyday? It's ridiculous that aides are not permitted to give suppositories.
