My son is not the one who had the surgery. The little boy who had it is and

is 9 years old and his was pretty bad- I don't know degrees off the top of my

head though. Our local doctors are pushing us to have the growing rod surgery

done for Brett - but I don't think so yet! Thanks for replying.

I have a question, how bad was the scoliosis? I'm just amazed that he is

only 5 and they did the fusion. I would figure that would make for a lot of

issues for when he gets older. To have ones back locked into shape at 5. Just
