Thank you for a very good report on the dangers of mercury ingestion and the role industry and government have dealt with this. I only wish the WSJ would look at the thousands of children injured by injected ethylmercury (thimerosal). The evidence and research showing the cellular and biological damage is mounting, and again, government and industry appear to be minimizing the danger, and maximizing the value of immunization. As the parent of a child who is autistic, I am anti-mercury, not anti-vaccine. Vaccines, like tuna, need to be safe. The big difference is that you can choose to not eat tuna yet vaccines are mandated for children. It is time that we consumers of tuna or vaccines, make those responsible for their products to make them safe. This is especially true as the flu season approaches so that consumers will demand thimerosal-free flu shots.

Sincerely,

Conrick
