Guest guest
Thought I would post this here in case anyone sees local coverage on a green mini van loaded with HOPE FOR AUTISM, puzzle pieces of our kids faces passing through their state. This was in the local paper and there will be TV coverage on her departure. The below information is her goal for Across America for Autism. Oh and if you want to meet with her as she drives through your state and/or can set up news coverage please call her. All my best, Tami Wilken Gavin's mommy Across America for Autism will begin a 10,000 mile cross country awareness drive on August 7th. My two boys, , 9 aspergers and Jonah, 6 autism are leaving from the Quad Cities in Illinois and driving through Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Washington DC, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, New Orleans, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. Our goal as a Non profit 501c3 organization is to raise money to help children and families who live with autism everyday. We want to give hope back to these families. After the drive all donations will be used for medical, dietary, educational and safety needs for these families. Reynold's Ford has donated a mini van. Auto Trim and Sign is doing the graphics for the van. La Quinta Inn has sponsored us nationwide. If you are interested in helping please call Kami at 1-309 373-3348. And please join us at Reynold's Ford in East Moline, Illinois at 9am on August 7th as we leave the Quad cities for our crusade.
