Guest guest
I'm 16 so " adult looking " shoes are not a problem. I LOVE Payless and because of them have discovered the joy of shoe shopping! LOL I do have a problem with getting " my size " shoe to fit. I have fat feet. They are very tall and wide. I technically have size 5 feet but in order to get shoes to actually fit, I wear size 9!! It makes it difficult to wear sandals or, as Kendra said, sexy shoes because my toes don't show. Oh well! I love my " thick glitter soled white with holographic hearts " shoes! Have you tried payless shoes? they have great shoes in kids sizes but look very adult... Target also has a great selection MJ " I'll remember you, though. I remember everyone who leaves. " ~ Lilo & Stitch
Guest guest
I'm a size 2-3 and I have the same problem. I wear ballet slippers on a daily basis because they are so light and I want to maintain what little movement of my feet I have. For work I wear a flat heeled Jane style. I picked up a few pairs in the main colors at PayLess. I also found some great elegant and sexy low-heeled strappy shoes that I've worn for formals, weddings, and other similar events at The Shoe Dept. > > In a message dated 11/6/2004 3:30:06 PM Eastern Standard Time, > lilredhalo@y... writes: > > I wear a size 12-2 in kinds depending on what if they r boots or > tenis shoes... my problem is i cant find any " adult " looking sheos in > my size... like dress shoes or boots for work or hills/plat form > types to go out in!! any one else have this problem? > > > I wear the same size! Guest guest
I know it sounds comical, but you should check out the -Kate and stuff at Wal-mart. My girls are MK & A crazy, but I think a lot of the stuff is TOO grown up for them. They have some boots that I'd buy.... FOR ME, but not for my 4 or 8 year olds!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
I have very wide feet, too. I always had luck with Lane (catalog and on line). They carry shoes up to EEE width and have grown up and sexy looking shoes.
Guest guest
I also have a problem finding adult looking shoes for guys. I take a size 4 to 4 1/2 and the kids shoes are so hard. All I want is a nice pair of soft Italian leather shoes and I can't find them anywhere. When I was a child I also had that " fat foot " syndrome and was almost impossible to find shoes that would fit. My parents would have my shoes custom built by a local shoe maker. To me, they were the ugliest shoes I ever saw, because they looked like orthopedic shoes, but they did fit. LOL! Joe

Guest guest
s is right, Stride-rite does have nice smaller size shoes, their in most malls. I found two pairs once and bought them both on the spot, a little expensive, but thats what credit cards are for LOL. They had the nicest salesman too, when he saw my Mother struggling to lift my leg and cram the shoe on my fat foot, he grabbed my ol' leg and did it for her. Three times in fact til we found something suitable. There's a website called shortsizesinc.com that has smaller stuff too, but I only found one pair of nice shoes in my size (5 1/2) they are Florsheims I believe, got them on now. Sunday I bought a really nice pair of dress shoes from Payless, they had everything I need. Very light, smooth non rubber soles for gliding along the floor (I don't wear footrests, so its a must), stylish. Do you think those buggers would go on my fat-assed foot!!!!!??? No way!! They were on sale for $15 too which made me all the madder LOL. Quite a significant savings over the $80 pair I was wearing hey. Oh well, on with the great shoe hunt right folks! Take care, Doug
