Guest guest Posted July 11, 2005 Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 I've been thinking about the fact that no whistleblowers have come forward to speak up about thimerosal or any of the other " funny " business around vaccines. Two possible reasons: Fear of the immense power of the pharmaceutical companies in cahoots can't think of a better term) with government agencies AND The prevailing belief that any drop in the level of vaccinations will result in terrible epidemics, killing thousands, maiming hundreds of thousands, etc., etc. I think a lot of doctors, scientists, politicians and ordinary folks are really brainwashed about the total necessity for vaccinating everything that moves, over and over and over again. So, I can't see anyway to get anywhere with this without doing something about this extreme, distorted fear of disease. Anyone who speaks up and criticizes anything about the vaccine program is immediately labeled as anti-vaccine and pro-disease, which equals pro-mass-death-and-disaster-and-suffering-and-return to the dark ages. And a fair number of people seem to believe it. Of course coming up with a way to diminish the power of the pharmaceutical/governmental complex is a bit of a challenge too.
