Guest guest Posted December 11, 2004 Report Share Posted December 11, 2004 Yes, we travel with one that fits over a queen-size and/or double bed. It is light enough for me to carry myself and I assemble it alone also. The motor lifts my husband up and down and I work the side to side motion (which is unlike the permanent ceiling lift we have). Also, Rolli Moden catalog ( " Unique Products for Wheelchair Users " ) has an even lighter lift they sell for traveling. Their email is info@.... I think they are in Calif. What brand is it? Does it have a track with poles that goes across the bed or is it more like a hoyer floor lift that you roll around?
