I very rarely just naturally burp without having to swallow air or force it. i can't drink anything carbonated because all that gas gets caught in my chest and causes pressure feeling. But it is almost impossible for me to throw-up. I can be so sick and nauseous that I want to vomit but nothing will come up. Anyone else have this problem? There have been times I've felt so bad that I've tried to stick my finger down my throat (not an easy task with my contracted jaw), but nothing helps. I was told by someone at a MD clinic once that we have no gag reflex in the back of our throats.
