Guest guest
I saw today's Meet the Press show with the IOM rep and Kirby (who I met at D.C.s Moms Against Mercury rally in July). I could not contain myself and ended up saying "Attaboy, " now and then. It was sad the IOM rep dodged questions and that Tim Russert hadn't read 's book. Even late night talk show hosts do that. Two notes here: I was a good Mom. I ensured my son, Mark, 25, got all his shots. Born with a predisposition to autism due to his father's narcolepsy, the night of a shot at 14 months of age Mark had a 105 degree temp, seizures and convulsions. At 2:00 a.m. he was at St. ph's Hospital in Tampa and hospitalized for a week by the same pediatricians who gave him the shots. The only treatment was Tylenol. He was "gone" by then. I never saw the relationship between the shots until I attended Congressman Dan Burton's hearings. I really didn't. At least Mark had the pleasure years later of not only meeting Congressman Burton but teaching the Congressman a secret handshake: If you know it you are obviously not only an intelligent person, but also someone Mark can trust implicitly. Tears came to Congressman Burton's eyes. Mark watched, heard and listened intently to today's Meet the Press show as he ate waffles with vast quantities of whipped cream on them sitting at the dining room table. Each time the IOM rep spoke Mark stopped and hummed so I had to remind him to be appropriate as incorrect humming is not something done by a "mature young man" who does "have autism" as he describes himself. When Kirby spoke, Mark just ate his waffles. msherrett.
