Guest guest
Yes, it should be non-partisan. But I think some people don't see the partisan tilt to their comments and it may be just a matter of pointing it out. Most folks, I would guess, don't naturally think in non-partisn political terms. It takes a little getting used to. Having said all that, I say it is time to get more strident and pushy -- I sense the time is right -- we have them on the defensive. We need to get prickly about it, like " BUSH POISONS OUR KIDS " or something like " BUSH & DRUG LORDS HURT OR KIDS " or even " JAIL MERCURY CRIMINALS NOW! " What has happened to our children are atrocities and we SHOULD be acting outraged! Guest guest
, I kinda agree. But, how is bashing Bush partisan? I have HUGE problems with the man personally and as my president. I don't dislike him greatly because he's a republican, but because of his actions, choices, and inability to tell the truth or follow thru with promises. I think people should be free to speak their minds. I also think it's more effective to take a " positive slant " or better yet, like I suggested before, use quotes from the president himself to further our cause. I also think some people are overly sensitive about dem/rep or lib/neocon, etc. Let's stop putting labels on people and judge them on their character, on their actions. You won't take mercury out of vaccines = You are a bad person! end of story. like someone asked before, I think it's a good idea to see what other groups have done in the past. there are a lot of ideas that can be recycled. we'll probably come up with a few new ones too. If the president is partly responsible for this problem, we have the right to express that in a sign or banner.
