Guest guest
, Thank you for the advice, I will check into the care provider for Matt for school. It would not be a bad idea to start interviewing now. Take care Steph
Guest guest
, Your son will also qualify for the school to pay for a full time assistant for him if you decide to put him in public school. I had one from elementary school through high school. They helped me in the classroom, and helped me use the restroom. In college the school no longer pays, but a different state agency does. bvarney123@... wrote: Hi Jay? wears diapers when we go out .He is going to posibly be homeschooled. So I dont have to worry about what to do at school. He goes potty on his rifton pottychair at home.He rarely go in his pants at home. Never # 2. He only pees in his diaper out in public . He is getting a little older but he seems to be fine for now with it.
Guest guest
, All I can say is to make sure everything and all scenarios are discussed. I feel the same way. Getting that special aid that cares for Talelah as much as you do is going to be hard. I know there are very special people. You just have to interview several until someone clicks. You will know when you find that uniuqe person. Good Luck!!! I have to do the same thing. Talked to Judy she said she had talked to you. She really likes you.She said she might call Dr. Bach. Well take care, Varney

There's a girl at my school who has an LPN with her the majority of the day. The school pays for it, I'm pretty sure. Personally, I wouldn't like the idea of having somebody follow me around like that, but I don't need that constant care. Also, if you're thinking of just in emergencies not all the time, every school has a nurse. The nurse could be easily trained and called when needed. Guest guest
Since this came up, I've been wondering about aids. I'm worried, not just that my daughter will be able to go the toilet when she needs to, but what about in the situation that she needs to be coughed and suctioned, what if she chokes, etc. Will an aid be able to do the medical things she requires. I know how fast she can go down, and it's not like there would be time to call me and have me run over to the school to help her. As some of the others said, you need to interview a few people until you get *just* the right person. Don't let them be alone with your daughter until you're confident you know they know what they're doing. They are some very good carers out there, 4 of my 5 are brilliant, I totally trust them with every situation that could crop up. I am in a bad situation at the moment, I hired a new PA about a month ago and she's not suitable for the job. My vent tube came disconnected last week and she just sat there, didn't put it back on. I had to do an alarm so mum could come and rescue me. Now I have the horrible job of " letting her go " TuftySue Wanna E Me? sue@...
