You can't make up how stupid this is from a public relations perspective.

This could have only been conjured up by an institution in the public sector, clearly on the run.

The man is doing your work for you!!!!

And it is self-imposed Ju-Jitsu! And it is typically laughable!!!

Why would anyone spend the money to put an ad in USA Today if they didn't believe their position? Why would working people bang on the government for their vaccine program, which is supposed to help people? Why would mothers harass the government?

People will begin to think, to debate.

That is a disaster for them. What are they thinking??????

The approach should be to deflect, to refuse to acknowledge.

But they can't. Offit proves it with his display.

Why is there an epidemic in autism? Why do all of the kids have asthma, allergies???

Think about it.

How stupid can you get?

Having the government (which everyone now thinks is totally corrupt- read the polls) be the point person to expose the sinister parents whose children were poisoned by vaccines and who want to take a neurotoxin out of medicines for babies?

They must be losing it.

This is like Darth Vader calling the beanie babies sinister.

You can't make this up.

Point! Set!

We're quickly coming to Match Point!!!!

We should pay a stipend to the person or person who are implementing their public relations strategy.

Make sure he/she/they stay on the job.

LOL!!!!

Offit stated that the USA Today 6000% CDC ad was financed by the same

people who did the same thing with breast plant litigation - meaning

the trial lawyers and their supporters and organizations, like ATLA.

The statement is false and a slander of Gen Rescue and all

organizations listed on the ad, A-CHAMP, NAA, MAMA, and others.

Offit should be made to retract his slander.

The debate in this presentation insulting - and assumes that thimerosal

has no relationship to neurodevelopmental disorders. I did enjoy the

critque of Offit's book. Offits spends most of his book showing the

defects in the manufacture of the polio vaccine in 1955 and then blames

the lawyers for all problems.

The comparison of our kids who unknowingly were injured to firefighters and

police officers is LUDICROUS. People who CHOOSE to become fireman and

policeman take a risk knowingly. Our kids did not. Why can't they see the

difference?

This randy guy is my favorite, he clearly has no concept of this issue at

all. He says " there really aren't that many of them so let's take care of

them right " .

Their continual stance of " if the vaccine reduces the risk of the virus,

then there is no reason to compensate you for any bad reaction to the

vaccine because we reduced your risk to the disease. " Is total horseshit.

The product design is faulty. That is YOUR fault. It didn't just happen.

Our kids didn't have to get sick except that YOU (the vaccine makers) chose

to put this crap in vaccines.

Ooooh, we are conspiratists! And we are looney tunes and nonsense. Oh

god, these guys are making me sick.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will double check the statement - have

it on tape.

If all he said is that it is same PR firm, that is a different

statement, and shows he is retreating to cheap debating techniques and

not principled argument.

We need to stop feeling sick and recognize that this issue is turning big time. The more public scrutiny it gets, the more the deniers look increasingly foolish and laughable.

Great points, Holly. These policy wonks are dismissing us as conspiracy

theorists and minimizing the extent of the problem. They wish they

were right, but they will find out otherwise. Bovbjerg does not

understand the scope of the problem even though his analysis of the

issue contains some balance. He is not rooted in the facts of our

problem but in the abstract policy issues.

I have been saying for a long time that policy people and ideologues

will be driving this toward a 9/11 trust fund type solution. We must be

prepared for this because the authorities will try to buy us off

cheaply.

Your comment on the comparison to firefighters, etc. is right - in

Congress many people regard our kids as inevitable, and therefore

acceptable " collateral damage " and in the same breath minimize

compensation programs and want us to go away cheaply. Guess what - we

are not going away. Just the opposite - they have no idea how much

harder we will be fighting.

Also, the idea that somehow specialized courts, " science courts " are

better at producing justice than courts with juries is a failed concept

to which these policy wonks are wedded. We must resist this line of

thinking because the ones who are victimized by this type of thinking

(victimize the victims) are our children. These people minimize

" side-effects " of vaccines - they all view it as exceedingly rare

events. We know better.

Offit just repeated the oft-repeated falsehood that flu kills 36,000 to

40,000 people every year.

And that is how this presentation ended!

For those of us who missed this Offitt interview. Who carried it?

(CNN or C-Span) and any chance it will be re-aired? Transcript?

Was this retaliation for last weeks events? Since he was referring

to the USA AD.

Details please!

Thanks,

But, it will get worse before it gets better as they sink down even

C-Span often repeats these kind of program. I didn't see it on the schedule

but you can keep checking back to see.

In my opinion...not worth the time. It is more of the same old rubbish.

is correct. Offit said that the " advertising group " behind

the USA Today ad is the " same group " that was behind the breast plant

litigation campaign. Offit did say that the intent of the ad was to

influence juries that hear these cases, and suggests that the trial

lawyers are behind it all, and that it is all about litigation. Last

time I checked no lawsuits named the CDC as a defendant. Clearly Offit

views this or wants people in power to view this as solely about

litigation, and that he views trial lawyers as evil.

He spent a lot of time showing how celebrity lawyer Melvin Belli

handled the Cutter case for the plaintiffs, suggesting that there was

no merit or credibility to the plaintiffs, the Gottsdanders, claim. It

was amusing to see him mistakenly identify Belli in a photo as Jack

Ruby, but what he was trying to say is that the same scum who would

represent Jack Ruby and cases that have no merit are pushing vaccine

injury claims. Offit is highly unprincipled and his arguments " don't

hold water " as Vinnie, the " trial lawyer " from the movie " My Cousin

Vinnie " would say.

If we cede this debate to the policy wonks and ideologues we will all

be screwed.

for H.

MANY TROOPS WHO RECEIVED MERCURY CONTAINING VACCINES DEVELOPED THE GULF WAR ILLNESS EVEN IF THEY NEVER CAME NEAR THE GULF. WARN THE CURRENT TROOPS ABOUT THE DANGERS OF MERCURY. IF THEY WISH TO APPLY FOR COMPENSATION IF THEY DEVELOPE MERCURY TOXICITY, THEY SHOULD GO ON RECORD AS PROTESTING MERCURY AND DEMANDING MERCURY=FREE VACCINES.

Sincerely,

H.H. Fudenberg, M.D., D.D.G., I.O.M.

That's a good approach. I know a number of marines who, just before being shipped out to Iraq, were forced to take some 20-24 injections at a sitting, using a robotic type device I described in an earlier post. The bolus dose of mercury in those vaccines must be approaching 0.5 mg or more. Anthrax itself has had a number of problems. These marines were very unhappy about the situation, but didn't want to be court martialed. Gives new insight to the term "serving your country." We might want to turn to the various VFW halls around the country as allies.

At some point, the states, which administer the federal mandatory vaccination guidelines and pay most of the special education costs, are simply going to say no to the mandatory schedule. Especially if the nitwits continue to try to force people to be poisoned with mercury containing vaccines, in contravention to common sense and in contravention to state statutes. .

INDEED..

JB you should call for him to retract that.

Re: Offit

Offit stated that the USA Today 6000% CDC ad was financed by the same people who did the same thing with breast plant litigation - meaning the trial lawyers and their supporters and organizations, like ATLA.The statement is false and a slander of Gen Rescue and all organizations listed on the ad, A-CHAMP, NAA, MAMA, and others.Offit should be made to retract his slander.
