WIC waiver question re shots

I'm writing a question for a friend who has a one year old child. The family receives services from WIC Women Infants Children, and the mom tells me she was told the child was required to receive all shots through WIC. Does anyone know if WIC also provides a waiver from shots as California (and other) schools do?

The child is scheduled for shots this Friday, so any information would be appreciated.
